Here at the Yoga Studio, we take you through a journey of Yoga, rarely found in other classes. We practise the Ashtanga Vinyasa form of yoga ( popularly known as “power yoga”) which is very dynamic in nature, this sort of a yoga practise is perfect for individuals looking to develop strength, lose weight and tone up by working the deeper muscles of the body. The Yoga Studio is a haven where you can unwind and relax, it is a place where you can escape the everyday stress and worries and connect with your inner self. In this quiet ambience, feel free to let go of your body and mind to feel uplifted and energized.

The classes are revitalizing and rejuvenating and incorporate the traditional form of Pranayama (breathing technique), Savasan (relaxation), Dhyana (meditation) and Chanting. The classes are specifically designed to build a healthy balance of flexibility, strength, agility, and poise. The classes run for duration of 75 minutes and you will be sure to feel a difference in your body and mind after a class with us!

Get Started
If you new to yoga do not panic, you don’t have to be super flexible or extra strong in order to start your practise. Each of us is unique and so is the yoga practise, all you need to bring with you to class is a fun loving attitude and smiles on you face! The studio provides mats, water and changing rooms for our valued yogis. Dress comfortably and preferably wear something in which you can stretch your body out like an elastic band!

If you do have a knee issue, back issue or any other medical ailments please do inform our instructors so they can advise you on the doe’s and don’ts and modify the asanas as per  your body’s capacity.

Pregnancy Yoga Lessons
corporate yogaThe studio also offers yoga classes for pregnant ladies, yoga can be of great help to the expectant mothers during the pregnancy, at childbirth and in post-delivery stages. The yoga poses and meditation techniques help to make the body more flexible, improve posture, reduce anxiety and ease many pregnancy issues. It prepares both your body and mind for new situations and changes that occur during and after pregnancy.

Having written a book on “Pregnancy Yoga”, you will be in safe and nurturing hands in Seema’s pregnancy yoga classes.  For more information on the batch timings please do contact us and we will be sure to answer any of your questions or concerns.

I am Scottish, living in India and gave birth to our baby boy here in Delhi. My husband and I found Seema's classes extremely helpful during the weeks running up to the birth. For me, it was great to practice breathing, relaxation and to build up strength specifically for my labour. My husband and I also found it useful to learn massage and breathing exercises together. To add to that, we found the sessions a lot of fun...I'm sure laughing is good for the baby-bump!

I was three months pregnant when I began yoga classes for pregnant women at the yoga studio. The classes were given in small groups (2-4 women) which was excellent. The yoga teacher, Seema, gave every woman personal attention, customising the lesson to suit everybody's own needs. The lessons were really very good and Seema is a well trained and experienced yoga teacher. Her lessons helped keep me in shape and energised during my whole pregnancy - which went very smoothly. It helped me prepare for giving birth as well. And last but not least, the lessons were good fun.The last class I took was a few days before I delivered my baby, a beautiful and healthy girl. After six weeks I started with the regular yoga classes at the yoga studio to get back in shape, and to give me more balance in my life to take care of my baby together with a full time job. I would certainly recommend Seema's yoga classes.

The benefits of private lessons are immense in case of any medical ailments related to the body as it empowers you with the tools and practices customized to your unique needs.

It ensures personal attention at all levels and in case of beginners, private yoga lessons offer exposure to the meaning and essence of yoga. The lessons offer an in depth understanding of the need of yoga and the correct alignment in each asana. This can be scheduled even if you are currently enrolled in group yoga classes.
